We do not collect or store any personally identifable information from users of the mobile application. The mobile application asks for permission to determine your location. This permission is optional does not have to be granted in order for the mobile application to be used effectively. Should you opt to grant permission to determine your location, we do not keep any record of your location on our servers.
We use the Google Maps API to present libraries which are either nearby your current location or another location of your choosing. If you choose a location to search, we use the Google Places API to retrieve the latitude and longitude coordinates of that location. Within the mobile application, you can save libraries as favorites and the mobile application keeps a list of recently viewed libraries. Both types of data are only saved locally on your device and you can delete that data by using your device's system tools at any time.
You can access participating library websites through our mobile application. When you do so you are doing so subject to their policies regarding privacy and data collection and you should read those sites' privacy policies to make sure you agree to them before using such sites.
